Kannapolis web design & SEO, woven tight for local business.

This was a town built to make towels by the million. Today it's West Avenue restaurants, research labs, contractors and clinics. We build fast, custom websites and steady local search work for the people running them, priced in writing before anything starts.

A mill town that rewove itself

From towel capital to a downtown worth visiting.

For most of the last century, Kannapolis ran on Cannon towels. When the Pillowtex mill shut in 2003 it took 4,800 jobs at once, the largest single layoff North Carolina has recorded. The town didn't sit still. A research campus rose on the mill site, and in 2015 the city bought its entire downtown and rebuilt West Avenue from the curbs up.

That rebuild brought new storefronts, apartments and a ballpark to a few blocks that had gone quiet. It also brought competition. A new taproom, a salon on Main Street or an HVAC company serving the city's newer neighborhoods all need the same thing: to be the obvious choice when someone nearby pulls out a phone. That's the work we do, and our website builds start there.

How a build runs

Four passes of the shuttle, call to launch.

No mystery phases and no stack of paperwork. You'll talk to Roger at the start, see real pages in the middle and approve everything before it goes live.

  1. Measure

A half-hour phone call about your services, your area and the customers you'd like more of. Roger shares what he spotted on your current site and listing before you hang up.

  2. Warp

He sets the page plan: which services get their own page, which Kannapolis searches each one answers, and where reviews and photos belong.

  3. Weave

Writing, design and hand-written code. Every form is tested on the live server before you see the first draft.

  4. Finish

You approve it, it goes live, and later edits are a text or an email. Three revision rounds come with every build.

Swatch book

Pick your weave. The price is on the tag.

Three builds, each with a fixed price and a monthly hosting and care rate. Local SEO is the only thing we quote separately, after a free look at your business and your competition.

Questions Kannapolis owners ask first

Is your office in Kannapolis?

No. We work out of Mooresville, in Iredell County, and we'd rather say so than rent a mailbox on West Avenue. NC 3 connects the two towns, so Roger can be in Kannapolis well inside an hour when a sit-down helps. Most projects run fine on calls and screen shares.

How long until my site is live?

A Starter site usually launches in about a week, Growth in about two and Custom in about three. The pace mostly depends on how quickly your photos and feedback come back.

Who owns the finished site?

Your business does: the domain, the words, the photos and the code. We host it to keep it quick and secure, but nothing is locked to us.

Why not WordPress or Wix?

Pages written by hand load faster, have no admin screen for strangers to poke at and don't break when some add-on changes. It's also why small edits can be included in the monthly rate.
